For those who don’t want to buy a gift:
Not everyone believes in gift lists, and not everyone can afford to buy a present. So if you are ermming and arrring about whether to give- then don’t. We really don’t want to see lots of glum faced friends on our wedding day in debt after having bought us a rather nice, but very dear, gilded whisk.
There is also the option of giving to people who are a bit more deserving than a Megan or a Kenny. We are quite enamoured by the idea that guests might buy a tea cosy for their granny or give money to a charity that means something to them. So please do that instead if you would prefer.
For those that do want to buy us a gift:
As you will notice when you look at the LIST, it is a bit homemade. Rather than having a field day at a big department store and zapping everything in sight, we have tried to include items that are either needed, beautiful or can be enjoyed with others. BUT PLEASE BEFORE YOU BUY an item, can you check with Megan’s mum (mother dearest) whether someone else has already snapped it up, otherwise we might end up with enough composters to run a council service. Then please can you then send another email/phone confirming that the item has actually been bought.
